RN Psych Nights
Facility Name: Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital

Floor: All
• Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): RN
• Specialty: Behavioral health
• Shift: Nights 7p-7a -No block schedule

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
• Call Requirements: no call
• Required Certifications: BLS
• Years of Experience: 1
• Float Requirements: Yes

• Number of Beds: 104 across five units (adult, child, geri)
• Patient Ratios: 1:8 variable (geri and pedi have lower)
• Equipment: none
• EHR: Cerner

• Supervisor: Shift supervisors only

• Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: geri, pedi (5-17), adults. 2 adult units, 24 beds each; 24 beds on geri, 12 pedi.

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: RN experience and license
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Behavioral health
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, anxiety
• Personality Fit: -Must be willing to work with both adult and pediatric care

• Required Education: Associates
