💰 $34.85 – $54.02 per hour

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Specialty Imaging Technologist with expertise in CT imaging to join a leading academic medical center environment. This role involves performing advanced diagnostic imaging procedures using specialized equipment and techniques, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate results.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT and other specialized diagnostic imaging procedures
- Operate advanced imaging equipment and related software
- Ensure proper patient positioning for optimal imaging results
- Administer contrast and monitor for adverse reactions
- Follow established safety, infection control, and quality protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff for effective patient care
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Program
Certifications & Licensure:
- Active State Radiology License
- ARRT Certification in Radiography
- CT Certification (ARRT) or relevant specialty certification
- BLS Certification (AHA approved)
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of CT experience, preferably in a trauma setting
- Experience with CT interventional procedures
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and imaging protocols
- Proficiency with imaging software and diagnostic equipment
- Solid understanding of anatomy, contrast usage, and patient care practices
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Clinical setting with extended periods of standing/walking
- Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Strong attention to safety and patient care standards
