Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Specialty Imaging Technologist with expertise in CT imaging to join a leading academic medical center environment. This role involves performing advanced diagnostic imaging procedures using specialized equipment and techniques, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate results.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and other specialized diagnostic imaging procedures
• Operate advanced imaging equipment and related software
• Ensure proper patient positioning for optimal imaging results
• Administer contrast and monitor for adverse reactions
• Follow established safety, infection control, and quality protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff for effective patient care

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Program

Certifications & Licensure:

• Active State Radiology License
• ARRT Certification in Radiography
• CT Certification (ARRT) or relevant specialty certification
• BLS Certification (AHA approved)

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of CT experience, preferably in a trauma setting
• Experience with CT interventional procedures

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and imaging protocols
• Proficiency with imaging software and diagnostic equipment
• Solid understanding of anatomy, contrast usage, and patient care practices
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Clinical setting with extended periods of standing/walking
• Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Strong attention to safety and patient care standards
