Position Description
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Inpatient Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced inpatient rehab setting. The RN demonstrates the ability to make sound clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner while coordinating care for patients with complex medical and rehabilitative needs.
The nurse utilizes critical thinking skills to assess patient conditions, implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient progress. This role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and functional improvement. The RN consistently performs according to established nursing standards and is accountable for managing patient care and supporting unit workflows in an acute inpatient rehabilitation environment comparable to a medical-surgical unit.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state in which the nurse practices
- Minimum one (1) year of RN experience in an acute or inpatient care setting (medical-surgical, inpatient rehabilitation, or step-down required)
- Inpatient/acute care experience is required; candidates without this experience will not be considered
- Full command of the English language, both verbal and written
- Current BLS certification
- Current Health Certificate, per facility contract or state regulation
- Current TB screening (PPD or Chest X-ray), per facility contract or state regulation
