Description
• Shift: day shift 7am-7:30pm
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: Full time hours = 36/week part time hours=24/week
• Weekend Hours: Saturday and Sunday every 3rd weekend
• Call Requirements: no call requirements
• Required Certifications: CPR, HWC
• Years of Experience: preferably 2 years
• Float Requirements:
• Additional Notes: We currently have two units within the hospital, staff rotate working each unit.
Unit Information:
• Number of Beds: 48
• Patient Ratios:12:1 ratios depend on census
• Equipment: Patients must be medically cleared before arriving to the facility. Patients with lines or tubes are part of our exclusionary criteria with the exception of CPAPS and patients needing 2L of oxygen or less.
• EHR: The majority of our charting is paper. HCS is a platform we currently utilize for entering orders. Medications are pulled from a pyxis.
• Supervisor: • Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Adult
Hiring Profile:
• Must Have Skills/Experience: Experience with crisis intervention, verbal de-escalation, active listening skills, and empathetic communication skills preferred.
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Accurate and thorough charting and behavioral management skills.
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: substance abuse disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, PTSD, anxiety disorders
• Personality Fit: Critical thinker, positive team player, empathic, and kind
• Required Education: Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
