Description
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Fort Myers, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour day shifts
Hours per Week: 36
Job Details
- Work in a 19-bed Labor & Delivery unit with high acuity patients.
- Nurse-to-patient ratios typically 1:2.
- Call requirement: 12 hours within a 6-week scheduling period.
- Floating required; travelers may float to other nearby campuses.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: Epic.
- Scrub colors: Galaxy Blue and/or White.
- Culture emphasizes integration of travelers as core staff members.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Prior travel nursing experience
Additional Information
- Hard document submission deadline is the Monday prior to start date; no exceptions for pending documents.
- Clinical interview and offer process required.
- Travelers are prioritized first for floating assignments.
