Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia providers in a fast-paced Operating Room environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience with anesthesia equipment, and the ability to assist in a wide range of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies for surgical procedures
• Perform anesthesia machine setup, checks, and troubleshooting
• Assist anesthesia providers during procedures, including critical situations
• Support airway management, including intubation assistance
• Set up IV lines, arterial lines, and monitoring equipment
• Ensure proper sterilization, disinfection, and handling of equipment
• Assist with patient positioning and transport to/from OR
• Prepare OR rooms for cases and perform room turnover
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and universal procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of Anesthesia Technician experience – Required
• Minimum 1+ year of travel experience – Required
• Certifications Required:
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS
  • ASATT Certification
  • Cer.A.T. or Cer.A.T.T

Skills & Equipment Experience:

• Anesthesia machines, breathing circuits, laryngoscopes, ET tubes
• IV pumps, arterial/central line setup, monitoring systems
• GlideScope and airway management tools
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques, sterilization, and infection control
• Experience assisting in emergency intubations and critical cases

Surgical Case Experience:

• Orthopedics (including total joints)
• General Surgery
• Cardiac & Vascular
• Robotics & Laparoscopic
• GYN, ENT, Urology, Plastics, Podiatry, Thoracic
