Travel Perfusionist – New Brunswick, NJ

Start Date: 5/4

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

Gross Pay: $6,646/week

Schedule: 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Position Overview

A leading Level I Trauma Center in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking an experienced Travel Perfusionist to join its Cardiovascular OR team. This role requires strong clinical proficiency in CVOR and general OR environments, along with the ability to perform safely and efficiently in a high‑acuity, fast‑paced setting. Pending NJ license is accepted, and candidates may apply upon offer.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Perfusionist experience
• Current BLS and ACLS
• NJ license (pending or applied upon offer accepted)
• Experience in Level I Trauma, CVOR, and general OR required
• Strong understanding of perfusion equipment, protocols, and safety standards
• Ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR teams

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and manage cardiopulmonary bypass equipment during cardiac and vascular procedures
• Support perfusion needs for trauma, CVOR, and general OR cases
• Monitor patient hemodynamics and respond appropriately to changes
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all safety and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless procedural workflow
• Prepare, calibrate, and troubleshoot perfusion equipment as needed

• Environment: High‑acuity Level I Trauma & CVOR
