🏥 Unit Overview

Join a high-acuity Cardiothoracic ICU (CTICU) caring for critically ill patients post cardiac and vascular surgeries. This is a fast-paced, specialized unit requiring strong experience in managing fresh open-heart cases.

🩺 Patient Population

• Post Cardiovascular Surgeries (CV Surg)
• Fresh Hearts (Open Heart Surgery) – REQUIRED
• Cardiogenic Shock
• AAA (Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm)
• Hemodynamically unstable ICU patients

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Manage post-operative cardiac patients (fresh hearts)
• Monitor and titrate vasoactive drips
• Interpret hemodynamic data
• Provide critical care in a high-acuity ICU setting
• Collaborate with intensivists and cardiac teams

✅ Required Qualifications

• Active RN License (CT or Compact)
• Minimum 2+ years of CTICU experience
• Fresh Heart experience – MANDATORY
• Travel experience – REQUIRED
• EPIC EMR experience – REQUIRED
• Certifications:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NIHSS

📏 Travel Requirements

• 75-Mile Radius Rule Applies
  • Candidates within 75 miles = Local (Reduced Rate)
  • Candidates outside 75 miles = Travel Rate Eligible
