Travel RN Dialysis

Nights 

Required Skills:

• Med/Surg and Stepdown experience required.
• Charge experience is a HUGE plus.
• Should be familiar with Central line care and management, foley care and management, end of life care and management.
• In relation to the nephrology portion, should know how to care for a dialysis site properly (for example, not using an HD cath or attempting to access a fistula for blood draws)
• At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a clinical or hospital environment
• Current RN license from the appropriate licensing authority
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working specifically with dialysis patients or in nephrology
• Additional certifications related to nephrology or critical care

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher preferred

Other Requirements:

• Valid nursing license (multistate compact license preferred)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts as needed
• Physically capable of performing clinical duties, including patient mobility support and equipment handling
