Radiologic Technologist – Computed Tomography (CT)

Location: Novi, MI 48374
Department: Computerized Tomography (CT)
Employment Type: 13 week contract | 40 hours/week
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for CT examinations and explain procedures clearly.
• Review requisitions, assess patient history, and perform appropriate imaging studies.
• Operate CT equipment manually to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging.
• Administer intravenous contrast media, monitor patients for reactions, and provide immediate care if needed.
• Assist radiologists during complex procedures, including biopsies.
• Ensure all imaging procedures follow radiation safety principles (ALARA, shielding, equipment settings).
• Maintain accurate documentation in PACS and RIS systems.
• Manage procedural room setup and maintain adequate stock of supplies.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and teamwork standards, including AIDET, open communication, and respect for diversity.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• ARRT registration in Radiologic Technology with advanced CT registry or registry-eligible.
• BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification.
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience, with proficiency in GE and Philips workstations.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
• Ability to lift/move equipment or patients as required.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts, 5 days/week
• Covers ER, inpatient, and outpatient trauma units
• Scrub color: pewter
