Shift: Days (9:00 AM – 9:00 PM)
Schedule: 36 hours/week (3x12s) + 2 on-call shifts per 30-day schedule

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity Adult Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. This role involves providing comprehensive post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia, ranging from routine to complex cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to assigned post-operative patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and recovery progress
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products as prescribed
• Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures
• Document patient responses and update care plans accordingly
• Educate patients and families on post-op care and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Delegate tasks appropriately to support staff

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of PACU experience
• Active RN license (Oklahoma or Compact State)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA required)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program
