Description

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech (RCIS/RAD) – Travel/Contract

Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00–8:00 AM variable start (8-hour shifts)
On-Call Requirement: ~1 weekend per month and 1 day per week
Location Requirement: Must live 100 miles away

Experience Required:

Minimum 2+ years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology (EP) experience
Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures
Ability to scrub and pan procedures for peripheral and diagnostic studies

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular procedures
Perform scrub and monitoring duties in the Cath Lab
Operate radiology imaging and catheterization equipment
Support procedures including structural heart, coronary, peripheral, and EP cases
Ensure patient safety and maintain sterile technique
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Required Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism

Certifications & Licensure:

RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RAD (Radiologic Technologist) – Required
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Education:

Degree in related field (BA, BS, BSN, AA) or equivalent experience – Required
