Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm specializing in healthcare placements nationwide, is currently seeking a Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an excellent opportunity near Linn, Kansas. This position is located within a long-term care (LTC) facility committed to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.

This is a 13-week travel assignment

• Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Location: Near Linn, KS
• Setting: Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing
• Schedule: Night Shift
• Hours: 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours guaranteed weekly)

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks 

   

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and record patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
• Assist with wound care, IV therapy (where applicable), and other clinical procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Provide compassionate support and education to residents and their families
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and state regulations

Education & Certification Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Kansas (or compact license if applicable)
• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
• Current BLS Certification required
• Previous Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or Geriatric experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical assessment skills
