Description
- Minimum 1 year of Pathologist’s Assistant experience
- Experience in:
- Gross examination & dissection of surgical specimens
- Frozen sections (cut & stain)
- Autopsy support (post-mortem, bone marrow sampling)
- Specimen processing (labeling, sectioning, histology prep)
- Bachelor’s degree + Pathologists’ Assistant Program
OR- Post-bachelor Pathologists’ Assistant Program (approved school)
- PA(ASCP) Certification – REQUIRED
- Department: Anatomic Pathology / Histology
- Facility Type: Hospital Clinical Lab
- Workload: High volume (600–700 blocks/day)
- Charting System: Any (EPIC preferred)
- Comfortable with high-volume lab environment
- Strong in grossing, frozen sections, and autopsy support
- Flexible for minor floating
