Description

🏥 Facility / Unit Overview

System: Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH)
Unit: Critical Care Center
Beds: 14-bed ICU
Patient Population:
- Adult & geriatric
- Medical + surgical cases
Coverage:
- ✅ 24/7 intensivist support

⏱️ Contract Details

Length: 8 weeks
Start: ASAP (fast interview + offer)
Hours: 36 hrs/week (72 hrs biweekly)

🕒 Schedule

Shift: Nights
- 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
Weekends/Holidays: Rotating

🧠 Experience Requirements

Minimum:
- 2+ years ICU experience
Must demonstrate competency in:
- Ventilator management
- Vasoactive drips & sedation titration
- Hemodynamic monitoring
- Cardiac dysrhythmia recognition/treatment
- Post-STEMI care
Preferred:
- CCRN certification
- Ongoing continuing education

📋 Requirements

Licensure:
- Massachusetts RN license (in hand at submission)
Certifications (AHA):
- BLS
- ACLS

⚠️ Critical Screening Step

🚨 PASS/FAIL TESTING REQUIRED BEFORE ACCEPTANCE
- Telemetry/ECG interpretation
- Medication knowledge
No monitor techs → you must be strong in rhythm interpretation
