Registered Nurse (House Supervisor / Quality Risk Management)
Location: Tarzana, CA Duration: 13 weeks

🕒 Schedule & Work Details

• Shift: Day shift – 5x8 hours (08:00–16:30)
• Scheduling Type: Block scheduling
• Weekends:
  • Not usually required
  • Only required if surveyors are onsite
• Overtime:
  • 1.3× after 8 hrs/day or 40 hrs/week
• Holidays: Paid at 1.3× if worked
• Orientation: 40 hours (non-billable)

👩‍⚕️ Role Focus: Quality, Risk, & Patient Safety

This is a non-bedside, operational RN role focused on risk management, grievances, and regulatory readiness.

Core Responsibilities

• Intake, investigate, document, and respond to CMS-defined grievances
• Respond to patient complaints and grievances across all departments
• Provide clinical oversight for:
  • Event reporting
  • Triage and escalation
• Facilitate and monitor:
  • RCAs (Root Cause Analyses)
  • FMEAs (Failure Mode & Effects Analyses)
  • Corrective action plans
• Support:
  • Regulatory inquiries
  • Complaint investigations
  • Survey readiness
• Maintain continuity of patient safety and risk management functions
• Medical record reviews, including mortality chart reviews
• Post-discharge documentation queries and resolution
• Communicate with clinicians to clarify documentation (Epic)

You will be trained onsite

Requirements (Hard Stops)

• RN – Registered Nurse License for CA
• Minimum 2 years inpatient acute care experience (strict)
• BLS certification
• Epic charting experience – required
• First-time travelers allowed if 2+ years experience
