Description
RN House Supervisor – Quality/Risk Management
Location: Tarzana, CA
Start Date: 05/04/2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days – 5x8 (08:00–16:30)
Must-Have Requirements (Hard Stops)
- 2+ years RN experience (required)
- Acute inpatient hospital experience
- BLS certification
- Epic charting experience
- California RN license (in hand at submission)
Preferred Background
- Critical Care or Emergency Department experience
- MS/Tele candidates also considered
- Prior experience with:
- Patient complaints & grievance handling
- Risk management / quality review
- Event reporting & chart audits
Role Overview
This is NOT a traditional bedside House Supervisor role - it’s more Quality + Risk Management focused:
- Handle patient complaints & CMS-defined grievances
- Perform mortality chart reviews
- Lead event investigations & reporting
- Support regulatory compliance & survey readiness
- Coordinate RCA (Root Cause Analysis) & FMEA processes
- Work cross-departmentally (hospital-wide impact)
Think: clinical + administrative + compliance hybrid role
Schedule & Work Details
- Weekends: Not typical (only if surveyors onsite)
- Floating: Possible within facility system
- Block scheduling: Yes
- Orientation: 40 hours (non-billable)
