Position Overview
 

The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician.  These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics.  The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.
 

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of (1) year of experience in CT imaging and Diagnostic X‑ray.
• A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications.
• Ability to independently perform emergent studies overnight.
• Prior emergency or overnight imaging experience.
• Candidates should be Independent, reliable, and poses strong clinical judgment.
• Epic charting system experience.
