Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room (OR). The ideal candidate will have strong perioperative experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment across multiple specialties.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Operating Room across various surgical specialties
• Assist surgeons during procedures and ensure sterile field maintenance
• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for surgery
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems

Case Types / Specialties

• General Surgery
• Trauma (preferred, not required)
• GYN
• GU
• ENT
• Orthopedics
• Robotics

Requirements

• Active RN License (State or Compact)
• 3–5 years of recent OR experience required
• Experience in multiple surgical specialties preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical protocols

Schedule & Call Requirements

• Evening shifts: 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM or 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• One weekend every 3–4 weeks (evening shift)
• On-call: 1–2 shifts per week (8 hours each, following scheduled shift)
• On-call may also apply after weekend shifts
