Direct Hire | Full-Time | 3x12 Hour Shifts

A community-focused healthcare facility in Show Low, AZ is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join their fast-paced Emergency Department. Position Overview

• Permanent, full-time position
• 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (36 hours guaranteed)
• Level IV Trauma Center
• Fast-paced, high-volume Emergency Department
• Collaborative team with strong support staff

Key Responsibilities

• Provide rapid assessment and care for patients in emergency situations
• Manage a wide range of conditions including trauma, cardiac, and neurological cases
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical team members
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols

Requirements

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience (Required)
• Emergency Room experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills

Licensure & Certifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (Required)

Unit & Facility Details

• 30 private ER rooms
• 6-room Emergency Department Observation Unit (EDOU)
• 6 fast-track beds for lower acuity cases
• 1 seclusion room + 5 monitored rooms
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: typically 1:3 or 1:4
• Approximately 100 patients seen per day
• Support staff includes 5 ER techs during peak hours
• EMR: Allscripts (Sunrise)
• Medication system: Omnicell

Schedule

• Full-time
• 3x12-hour shifts
• 36-hour weekly guarantee
