Description

Registered Nurse – PICU

Location: Newark, NJ
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift – 3x12 hours

Job Description

Provide critical care to pediatric patients (infants to adolescents) in a high-acuity PICU
Maintain patient ratios of 1:1–1:2 based on acuity
Manage ventilators, airway support, and continuous cardiac monitoring
Administer IV medications, drips, blood products, and TPN; perform IV/central line care
Assist with procedures including intubation, chest tubes, and emergency interventions
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
Float to Pediatrics/NICU as needed within skillset

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of PICU experience
Travel experience required
Active RN license (state or compact)
Certifications: BLS, PALS (NRP preferred)
