Description
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in interventional radiology and cath lab procedures
- Perform patient assessments, consultations, and initial examinations
- Act as a primary point of contact for patients and referrals
- Support procedures including heart caths, PCI, IABP, STEMI cases, IVUS/IFR
- Conduct daily rounds and communicate patient progress with the care team
- Provide education and guidance to patients and families under physician supervision
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of Cath Lab experience
- Strong experience with:
- Heart Caths, PCI
- IABP insertions
- STEMI call
- IVUS/IFR
- Interventional Radiology procedures
- ARRT Certification (Required – RCIS not accepted)
- BLS & ACLS (AHA) – Active at submission
- Active Illinois State License
Additional Requirements
- COVID & Flu Vaccination Mandatory (No exemptions; must include status in submission)
- 30-minute response time for on-call
- On-call required: 8–10 days/month
- Weekend requirements: TBD
