PCU RN - Columbus, OH - 12hr Nights - $2,485 weekly

• Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
• 12HR D/N ROTATING or 12HR NIGHTS
• CHEMO CERTIFICATION REQUIRED!!!
• Experience: Must have MS oncology and at least 1 year inpatient hematology oncology experience in work history and checklist.
• A minimum of two years of overall nursing experience is required.
• Ratios: Goal is 1:4, but can be 1:5
• Weekends: Variable based on unit needs
• Schedule: No set/blocked scheduling. Self-schedule requests accepted to accommodate preferred schedules before finalizing.
• Certifications Required: BLS ACLS ONS Chemo Cert
• Certifications Preferred: NIHSS
• Skills Required: Telemetry Interpretation of dysrhythmias Telemetry monitoring Use of Rapid Response Teams Feeding tube care and management IV therapy/Phlebotomy Blood Product Administration Central line blood draw Peripheral Line Care/Management PICC line management Starting IVs Chemotherapy administration Central line sterile dressing changes.

• 72 Facility & Patient Care Details Patient Age Groups : Adults, Geriatrics
• Daily Census : 22
• Number of Beds : 24
• Additional Unit Information Interdisciplinary Support : Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary Patient Diagnoses : Acute Leukemia population. Primarily care for newly diagnosed acute leukemia patients. Medical unit - high number of blood products, IV antibiotics and electrolytes.
• Special Procedures/Unit Details : -Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls, B450 monitors, GE telemetry system, Bladder Scanner, Alaris pumps, Stryker beds
• MUST have exp with Leukemia/Blood Dyscrasias.
• Guaranteed Hours: 36
