Description

🩺 Role Overview

Shift: Nights — 3×12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Patient Population: Primarily stroke / neuro ICU patients
Unit Type: Neuro-focused critical care + general medical ICU

✅ Required Qualifications

Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
- Neuro ICU experience required
Skills:
- Strong EKG interpretation
- Must pass an advanced dysrhythmia exam
Systems:
- EPIC EMR experience required
Certifications:
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

🔄 Floating Expectations

You will be floated if needed
Likely to:
- Lower acuity units
- Higher patient ratios than ICU
⚠️ Important Notes
No holiday RTO (Request Time Off) will be approved
Must be comfortable with:
- High-acuity neuro patients
- Stroke management
- Critical care interventions
