Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR RN)

We are seeking an experienced Travel OR RN for a 13-week assignment in a high-acuity surgical environment. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong vascular and endovascular experience who is comfortable scrubbing and taking call in a fast-paced OR setting.

Job Overview

• Specialty: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)
• Schedule: 4x10s (Day Shift with Call)
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Setting: Acute Care Hospital (Level 1 Trauma Center)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in the operating room
• Circulate and scrub on surgical cases as required
• Assist with vascular and endovascular (IR) procedures
• Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and ensure safety
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical teams
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to surgical protocols
• Document all patient care accurately in the EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (must be in hand at time of submission or in process)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of OR experience required
• Scrubbing experience required
• Experience with vascular and endovascular (IR) procedures required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Additional Details

• 4x10 day shift schedule with call
• Weekend call: every 3rd weekend (Saturday–Monday)
• Holiday call rotation required
• 30-minute call response time
• Floating may be required to support other surgical teams
