Travel Registered Nurse – OR RN Educator (Perinatal / C-Section Circulation)

We are seeking an experienced Travel RN Educator for a 13-week assignment supporting surgical services within a Family Birthplace unit. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong perioperative and labor & delivery experience who specializes in educating OR staff on circulating for C-sections.

Job Overview

• Specialty: Registered Nurse – OR Educator (Perinatal Focus)
• Schedule: 3x12s (Day Shift)
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Setting: Family Birthplace / Operating Room

Responsibilities

• Educate and train OR staff on circulating for C-section procedures
• Support perioperative nursing practices within the Family Birthplace unit
• Develop and implement education plans for surgical and nursing staff
• Ensure adherence to best practices, policies, and patient safety standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes
• Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship in surgical and perinatal care
• Maintain accurate documentation and training records

Requirements

• Active RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NRP certification required
• Minimum 3+ years of RN Educator experience in a perinatal setting required
• Strong experience with OR circulation for C-sections required
• BSN required (MSN preferred)
• Experience with Meditech Expanse preferred
• Must have own transportation

• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation required
• No call required
