Description

Required:
- CA RN Licensure
- BLS
- PALS
- ACLS
- NIHSS Certification
Is on-call REQ? Yes; What is the req? overnights on weekdays, weekends x 24hrs each day, and holidays 24hrs per day.

Special Requirements:
- 2 years of recent OR experience in a community hospital or Trauma level 2 facility
- 2 years circulating experience in a community hospital setting; experience to include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Spine, Urology, Robotics, OB/GYN (C-sections), Plastic Surgery, and Robotics
- Conscious sedation experience

Unit Information:
Provides individualized nursing care based on knowledge of basic competencies in the fundamentals of nursing and pharmacology using the nursing process applied to geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients from admission through discharge. This position requires knowledge of standards of care, nursing assessment parameters, and pharmacology, including doses, purpose, interactions, side effects, and reactions to medications.
