Guarantee Hours (Weekly): 40 hrs

M – F: 5:30 am – 10:30p – 8’s, 10’s, or combination of 8’s & 12’s hours day/evening shift based upon department needs.

Weekends: Y - EOW - 5:30 am – 10:30 pm – 8’s, 10’s or a combination of 8’s & 12 hrs. day/evening shift based upon department needs.
Occasional Sundays due to Holidays – 5:30 am – 10:30 pm – 8’s, 10’s or a combination of 8’s or 12’s hrs. day/evening shift based upon department needs.

Float Required: Y - All other Dialysis locations

Any special skills/traits you are looking for in a candidate: Charge Nurse experience required. Outpt. Chronic and Acute experience required. Charge Nurse for 24 chair unit when assigned. Acute 8 station coverage.

Skills: Chronic Outpatient Dialysis, Administration of blood & blood products, 20008T Fresenius, Absence of disinfectant in system, Ability to cannulate AV graft, Ability to cannulate AV fistula, Dialysate Conductivity testing, Tunneled/ Non Tunneled Catheter, Air foam detector alarm, Arterial pressure alarm, Blood leak detector, Blood pump alarm, Conductivity alarm, Dialysate pressure, Power failure alarm, Temperature alarm, Ultrafiltration alarm, Venous pressure alarm, Blood glucose monitoring, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Infection control, Air emboli, Cardiac Arrest/CPR, Chest pain, Clotted access/poor blood flow rate, Disequilibrium syndrome, Filter blood leak, Fluid overload, Hemolysis, Hyperkalemia, Hypotension, Muscle cramps, Pericarditis, Pyrogenic reaction, Seizures
