Description
4x12hr shifts, day or nights open. 13wks
Beds: 39 MICU, SICU, CICU, TICU mixed unit- All one ICU divided into pods- would not float into CVICU side unless experienced in that unit/specialty
Minimal Experience: 2 years of ICU experience
Travelers must live 100 miles away from any Monument Health facility
Permanent staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
Patient Types: Complex ICU patients ranging from surgical, medical, cardiac (preferred), neuro and trauma
Diagnoses include but are not limited to: ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, s/p cardiac cath, post-surgical, multiple system trauma heavy trauma population
Cardiac experience is preferred (not required): CABG/TAVR 24 to 48 hrs post op experience is preferred but not required for travelers
Will not take fresh open hearts unless they are experienced, and the facility felt comfortable with this given to permanent staff
Patient Ratios: RN: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 (rare) acuity dependent
