🛠️ Role & Responsibilities
- Provide care for cardiac & post-operative patients, including open-heart cases
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms & telemetry
- Manage chest tubes, drains, and post-procedure care (radial/femoral access)
- Assist with temporary pacers, pacing wires, and advanced cardiac devices
- Handle oxygen therapy, NIV, and high-flow systems
- Deliver safe, high-quality patient care using clinical judgment and nursing process
✅ Requirements
- 2+ years PCU/Stepdown experience
- Open heart / post-op cardiac experience – REQUIRED
- Strong cardiac monitoring & rhythm interpretation skills
- Experience with chest tubes, pacers, and cardiac devices
- Critical care experience – Highly Preferred
- Must be willing to float
