Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Fremont, CA 94538
Facility: Washington Hospital Healthcare System
Duration: 13 Weeks, with potential for extension
Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
Weekend Requirement: No weekends
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment at Washington Hospital Healthcare System in Fremont, CA. This role is ideal for a skilled RN with strong cardiovascular and procedural experience in a fast-paced cath lab environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Provide pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure patient care
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, hemodynamics, and patient status during procedures
• Administer medications and support sedation as needed
• Ensure adherence to sterile technique and cath lab protocols
• Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab or critical care experience
• Active California RN license
• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• Experience with EPIC charting system required
• Strong cardiac monitoring and critical thinking skills

Work Environment:

• Acute cardiac catheterization lab setting
• Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends
• High-acuity cardiovascular procedures
• Collaborative and fast-paced clinical environment
