Description
Shift: 12 Hour Days
PCU RN: Minimum Experience: 1 year
Tele RN: Minimum Experience: 1 year
Will you accept a first-time traveler- Yes, if greater than 2 years experience
Travelers must live 100 miles away from any Monument Health facility
Previous permanent staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
Patient Types:Adults with a variety of diagnoses including CHF, ARF, hepatitis, ESLD, DM, DKA, pneumonia, sepsis, GI bleed, syncope, chest pain, pulmonary emboli, respiratory failure, COPD, arrhythmias, seizure disorders, overdose, and delirium tremors.
Patient Ratios:RN: PCU/Tele - 1:4 (Days Nights)Med/Surg 1:5 (Days Nights)CNA: 1:8 (Days Nights)
Required Certifications:RN:(PCU Tele): BLS, ACLSLPN: BLS required; ACLS preferred
PCU RN: cardiac and vasoactive drip titration please request approval to offer without this experience, Cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV starts, Blood product administration,CIWA,drain/tube management, indwelling and straight catheter insertion/management, insulin drips - both DKA and non-DKA, continuous bladder irrigation,chest tube maintenance
