Description
Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech)
Location: Oneonta, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift:
- Day Shift: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM (8 hours)
On-Call Requirements:
- Approximately every 5th weekend (Friday to Monday)
- One night per week
- Potential holiday coverage
- Must respond within 1 hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) to perform a variety of cardiac ultrasound procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree from an accredited Cardiac Diagnostic Sonography program
- Registry eligible for Adult Echocardiography through ARDMS
- RCS Certification eligible through CCI
Required Skills & Experience:
- Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE)
- Inpatient portable echocardiography
- Outpatient echocardiography
- Structural heart familiarity
- Ultrasound contrast and agitated saline use
- Adult Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
- Including TEE probe high-level disinfection (HLD)
- Adult Stress Echocardiography (STE)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with EPIC EMR
Equipment:
- Philips EPIQ Ultrasound System
