Registered Nurse (Medical‑Surgical / Telemetry)

Location: Lodi, CA 95240

 Schedule & Hours

• Shift: Night Shift
• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Weekly Hours: 36–48 hours (both accepted)
• Float: As needed within MS/Tele units

✅ Requirements (Hard Stops)

• Active RN license
• BLS certification (AHA)
• ACLS certification (AHA)
• Cerner experience – required
• Minimum 2 years experience strongly preferred
• Solid telemetry experience required (mixed MS/Tele units)

🧾 Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical‑surgical and telemetry nursing care to adult patients
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring, interpret telemetry rhythms, and respond to abnormalities
• Conduct thorough head‑to‑toe assessments and ongoing reassessments
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments per provider orders
• Manage patients with complex medical conditions, including cardiac, respiratory, and post‑operative cases
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, initiating appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and care plans
• Document all care accurately and timely using Cerner
• Float within MS/Tele units as needed based on staffing and census
• Follow infection control, patient safety, and regulatory standards
• Respond to rapid responses, codes, and emergencies during night shift
