Description
The role includes conducting:
- Transthoracic Echo (TTE)
- Transesophageal Echo (TEE)
- Stress Echo
You will prepare patients, perform imaging, analyze results, and assist physicians in diagnosing heart conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures (Echo)
- Prepare and position patients
- Start IVs (important for this role)
- Read and understand EKG tracings
- Review images and assist in diagnosis
- Maintain patient safety and comfort
Requirements
🎓 Education
- Accredited Sonography program
OR relevant experience
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of cardiac/echo experience
📜 Certification
👉 Must have (within 6 months):
- RDCS (via ARDMS)
OR - RCS (via CCI)
🩺 Additional
- BLS certification (within 30 days)
