Job Title

• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

• Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and dysrhythmias to assess patient status.
• Administer IV therapies, blood products, and manage central lines and PICC lines.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention measures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Rapid Response Teams, to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health records (EPIC).

Required Qualifications

• Valid state or compact nursing license in Ohio.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in a similar acute care setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Experience with Telemetry, IV therapy, blood product administration, and central line management.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology certification (ONS Chemo Cert) preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification a plus.
• Experience with Rapid Response Teams and patient safety protocols.

• Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting immediately upon contract signing to ensure compliance.
• Travel and licensing documentation are required.
• RTO (Request Time Off) must be built into the contract at submission.
