Description
CT Technologist – Contract Role
Location: Virginia
Schedule: 36 hours/week (3x12s) – Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (blocked schedule)
Start: ASAP
Overview
Seeking an experienced CT Technologist to support a high-volume imaging department. This role requires strong independence, the ability to work across multiple patient settings, and comfort operating in a fast-paced emergency environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans on inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients
- Operate and maintain GE CT imaging equipment
- Ensure accurate imaging while following safety and quality protocols
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to support timely diagnosis
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience preferred
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- Active Virginia Radiology License required
- BLS (AHA) required
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced ED setting
Additional Details
- No local candidates (must live outside 50-mile radius)
- No EKG testing required
- Strong preference for candidates who can work independently and handle high patient volume
