RN Tele

Facility Name: Danville Regional Medical Center – Sovah Health

Floor: 6A Telemetry/PCU

Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): RN

Specialty: Telemetry/Progressive Care

Number of Openings: 1

Shift: Nights: 7P – 7A

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend Hours: As Needed.

Call Requirements: As Needed.

Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, HWC and NIH

Years of Experience: 1-2

Float Requirements: Med/Surg, ICU - May require travel within 25-mile radius of facility.

Number of Beds: 36

Patient Ratios: PCU is 1:4, Tele is 1:6. If we must blend sets, we do 1:5 – Experience required.

EHR: Meditech

Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Serves all ages.

Must Have Skills/Experience: PCU and Telemetry experience.

Preferred Skillset/Experience: 2+ Medsurg experience.

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: CHF, AMI, Respiratory failure, renal failure, DKA, AFib

Personality Fit:

Required Education: Required licensure/certification to work as an RN in Virginia.
