Position: Travel RN – MS/Tele Charge Nurse

Location: New York
Start Date: April 28, 2026
Shift: 5x8 (Days/Nights available)
Schedule: Some weekends required
Contract Type: Travel

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced MedSurg/Telemetry Charge RN for a travel assignment in New York. This role requires strong leadership and clinical skills, as the nurse will function as charge on every shift and support unit operations, staff coordination, and patient care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as Charge Nurse on all shifts
• Oversee patient flow, assignments, and unit coordination
• Provide staff guidance, coaching, and support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards

Requirements:

• Active New York RN License (MUST be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of MedSurg/Telemetry experience
• Recent leadership/charge experience required (within the past year)
• Experience with:
  • Staff scheduling
  • Coaching and mentoring team members
• EPIC charting experience required

Certifications:

• BLS (AHA) – Required
• NIHSS – Required

Additional Details:

• 💰 $3/hr charge differential (applies to all shifts)
• ❌ No floating required
• ✅ First-time travelers accepted
• 📍 Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility (no locals)
