You’ll work in a progressive care/stepdown unit managing patients transitioning from ICU-level care.

Job Overview

• Specialty: PCU RN
• Schedule: 3x12s (Night Shift)
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP (6/1)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Setting: Progressive Care / Stepdown Unit

What You’ll Be Doing

• Care for stepdown patients transitioning from ICU
• Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias
• Administer medications including:
  • Heparin
  • Insulin drips
• Perform:
  • IV starts
  • Central line care
  • Patient education and coordination
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

What They’re Looking For

• Active RN license
• BLS & ACLS required
• Minimum 2+ years PCU/Tele experience
• Epic experience REQUIRED
• Must be comfortable with:
  • Telemetry monitoring
  • Dysrhythmia interpretation
• Must pass telemetry exam

Schedule & Expectations

• 3x12 night shifts
• Weekend rotation required
• Floating to other units as needed
• No call required
