RN Emergency Room - Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Job Details
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
- Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Work Schedule: Every Other Week (EOW), Every Other Holiday (EOH)
- Float Requirement: May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
- Electronic Health Record: EPIC system experience required
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience plus previous travel experience,
OR - More than 5 years of experience in a large Emergency Department without travel experience
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MOAB) certification
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Previous travel nursing experience
