Description

13-Week Contract – OR RN (Neuro Experience Required)

We are currently seeking OR Registered Nurses (RN) with strong Neuro experience (Level 3 & 4 cases) and the ability to work across all service lines.

Key Requirements

Must be well-versed in all surgical procedures (no specialized teams)
Experience in: Neurosurgery, ENT, Orthopedic, GYN, General, Robotics (Da Vinci), Adults, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Obstetrics
Certifications: BLS & ACLS (Required)
Driver’s license required at submission (used to verify 50-mile radius rule)
Candidates must not be employed (FT/PT/PRN) with any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility.

Important Policies
Radius Rule: Must live outside 50 miles
Fingernail Policy: No artificial nails (non-compliance may lead to termination)
Exam Requirement: Pass/Fail exam during orientation (must score 90% to pass)

Department: OR (RN)
7 Operating Rooms + 2 Endoscopy Suites
EMR: EPIC
OR Techs available
Charge Nurse present (does not take assignment)
Schedule & Call
Shift: 06:30 AM – 03:00 PM (5 days/week)
On-call:
- 1 weeknight per week
- Every 5th or 6th weekend
- Rotating holiday call
  
  Additional Expectations
- Floating may be required (Pre/Post-op, PACU if trained, ER for trauma)
- 1 week of OR orientation
- Maximum 7 days RTO (must be submitted upfront)
