REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
 

Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year
 

Traveler Experience required: YES, does not accept 1st time travelers.
 

Skills: Neuro Experience. Inpatient hospital exp, PACS, contrast required. All IR procedures including: stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals, Biopsies, drainages, upper and lower extremity, abd and pelvic, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access and neurological studies. Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment exp required.
 

Certs: BLS and ARRT

PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: ARRT Advanced Cert preferred. EPIC and McKesson preferred. Outpatient, OR, ER, Level I trauma, Teaching hospital, community hospital, Ablations,

JOB DETAILS:
Shift: First shift with Primary call and Back up call with other team members (so we can provide round the clock coverage), staggered start time between 0700 and 0830 for 4x10 hours/day M-F. (We can work with 4 x 10’s with the stipulation that the day off will vary each week (it won’t the same day off each week).
 

Call Requirement: The traveler rotates Primary call and Back up call with other team members (so we can provide round the clock coverage). Primary call is one day approximately every 4 weeks and the weekend every 5th-6th weekend. Back up call is approximately 7 days (to include a weekend) every 9 weeks.
 

Weekend Requirement: Weekends and evenings/nights on call rotation.

PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Patient Age Group: majority Adults and geriatrics, with some Adolescents. Required skill in both Neuro (to include stroke intervention) and Body procedures.
 

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Daily Case Load: 13-17.
 

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Siemens and Phillips required. Acuson preferred.
Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day.
