Job Title: Ultrasound Tech – RDMS Registered
Unit: Radiology Diagnostic
Location: Bronx, NY, 10461
Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Shift Length: 7 hours
Weekly Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: 13 weeks

Position Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS) to join a dynamic acute care radiology department. The ideal candidate will have at least one (1) year of experience in general diagnostic ultrasound and demonstrate strong technical and patient care skills. This role involves performing high-quality ultrasound imaging, ensuring accurate diagnostics, and collaborating with healthcare teams to support optimal patient outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform general diagnostic ultrasound procedures as per physician orders.
• Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate documentation of results.
• Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment effectively.
• Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams for patient care.

Skills:

• Experience in general registered ultrasound and diagnostic medical sonography
• Strong technical proficiency with ultrasound equipment
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate imaging
• Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of General Ultrasound experience
• RDMS Certification (ARDMS) required
• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program (or equivalent military training)
• Associate’s Degree required
• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• English proficiency (Read, Write, Speak)

• Start Date: 05/18/2026

• Schedule: 5 days per week
