Position Details:
Job Title - Ultrasound Tech
Unit - General
Duration - 13 Weeks with possibility of extension
Shift - 8:00 AM-4:00 PM (35 hours Weekly)
Location - Bronx, NY 10461
Position Summary:
Skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist with experience performing a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures. Proficient in imaging techniques including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, vascular, and small parts studies.
Job Duties:

Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound exams, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, vascular, and small parts imaging.
Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort, privacy, and proper imaging techniques.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure completeness before submitting to radiologists.
Assist physicians with ultrasound-guided procedures when required.

Note: At least one year of General Registered Ultrasound experience
Requirements:

Experience: 1 year
Certifications: BLS, ARDMS Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
