Schedule NOTE: Graveyard shift - Mon Thru Thu 4*10
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled 2 years experience CT/MRI Technologist with mandatory GE CT equipment experience to perform a variety of advanced imaging procedures. The technologist will be responsible for operating CT and MRI scanners, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images, and providing safe, patient-centered care. This role requires the ability to work independently, handling physically demanding tasks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Requirements:
- ARRT certification in CT and/or MRI (required)
- Oregon State license
- GE CT equipment experience is mandatory
- Experience with PACS systems and image transfer
- 2 years of recent experience in an acute care hospital setting.
- BLS through AHA
- COVID card
Duties:
- Perform CT and MRI imaging procedures using GE equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
- Position and transfer patients safely, applying immobilization and radiation safety protocols as required.
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and provide support to those under physical or emotional stress.
- Upload and manage imaging data in PACS, ensuring accurate documentation and image quality.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff while participating in on-call rotations for 24/7 coverage.
Skills:
- Proficient in CT & MRI imaging, including GE CT equipment
- Strong knowledge of PACS systems and image processing
- Expertise in patient positioning, transfer, and safety protocols
- Skilled in radiation safety and compliance standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure and emergency situations
- Strong attention to detail and image quality evaluation
- Capable of working independently and in team settings
