Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Nights)
Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Develop and implement total nursing care for patients through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans.
- Provide leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel.
- Maintain professional nursing practice standards in the clinical setting.
- Provide care to a diverse patient population including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma.
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Additional Information
- Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays.
- Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered with adjusted placement terms.
- On-call pay applies with a minimum payout policy.
- Non-compete policy: Former direct employees are not eligible for agency placement until 6 months after direct employment ends.
