Description

RN / Neuro Medsurg / Tele

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights 7p-7a, E/O weekend and Holiday rotation

Call is voluntary

GH bi-weekly: 72

ACLS, BLS & NIHSS certifications are required

Ratio: 5:1 or 6:1

RTO max: 1 week

Scope of role: Higher med-surg acuity with diagnoses of stroke, seizures, post op neuro/spinal surgeries, level 2 trauma patients and level 1 trauma post-ICU care, and other diagnoses like DKA, renal failure, and general post op care

Number of beds in unit: 24

Years of experience: 2 years

Required skills/experience: Expertise in neuro assessments, critical thinking skills, drain management and post-surgical care, chest tube, groin site management post IR

Floating is required
