Description
Travel RN – Medical Surgical Oncology opportunity with City of Hope Cancer Specialty Hospital in Irvine, CA.
📍 Location: Irvine, CA
🏥 Facility: City of Hope Cancer Specialty Hospital
📅 Start Date: 05/19/2026 (Flexible)
⏳ Duration: 13 Weeks
🕒 Shift: Night 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Requirements
✔️ 3+ years Inpatient Oncology experience (Required)
✔️ Active RN License
✔️ BLS, ACLS & Chemotherapy Certification (ONS/ONCC)
✔️ Epic experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor chemotherapy (IV push, infusion, oral)
- Manage central lines, ports, PICC lines, and infusion therapies
- Perform blood & blood product administration
- Monitor and manage oncologic emergencies (sepsis, tumor lysis, etc.)
- Provide post-surgical and symptom management care
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and side effects
