JOB DESCRIPTION
NICU RN
We are a fast paced Level IV NICU. We care for infants from 23 weeks and beyond, with
varying degrees of acuity.
Manager will be interviewing.

Chest Pain Center - Adults

Census: average daily census - 71
Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years NICU exp required
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
23 week - term infants
Surgical needs (NEC, CDH, ect.)
Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
BLS
NRP
Skills required:
2 years of NICU experience required
Basic vent management
Central line management
Pre/post-surgical management
Tracheostomy management
G-tube management
Basic breastfeeding skills
Bottle feeding skills
Gavage feeding management
Blood transfusion
Infant venous stick skills
Support within the Department:
NAs with a 1:20 ratio
2 Charge RNs each shift
